College principal sentenced to rigorous imprisonment and life imprisonment for sexual assault on minor girl in Wayanad

Wayanad: The Bathery Fast Track Court has handed down a rigorous imprisonment and life sentence to college principal who sexually assaulted a minor girl in Sultan Bathery. The court sentenced Zakaria Wafi, the principal of Shamsul Ulama Islamic Academic Women’s College, Maithanikunnu in Sultan Bathery, to 45 years of rigorous imprisonment. The incident in question took place in 2021.
