THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan, recently visited several railway stations in the Thiruvananthapuram district. He visited Kappil, Edava, Varkkala, Shivagiri, Akathumuri, and Kadakkavoor railway stations.
During his visit, the Minister engaged with the railway station staff and passengers, gathering their suggestions for station development. Following these interactions, he announced plans to enhance various facilities, including the installation of lifts, escalators, parking facilities, information displays, restrooms, and surveillance cameras.
Furthermore, Minister V Muraleedharan informed that the passengers’ requests to the attention of the railway authorities. He also stated that he will discuss the matter with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
