Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning in Kerala, predicting heavy rain in the region. An orange alert has been declared in four districts, including Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Malappuram, and Kozhikode, while a yellow alert has been issued for all other districts, except for Kollam and Kasaragod.
Kerala is expected to experience moderate rainfall over the next seven days due to easterly winds coming in from the Bay of Bengal. The India Meteorological Department has also raised the possibility of a low-pressure system forming over the central and eastern Arabian Sea on November 8.
