Thiruvananthapuram: Neyyatinkara General Hospital faced a temporary suspension of surgical procedures due to a power supply disruption. The power interruption, which even affected the operation theatre, necessitated the suspension of surgical procedures.
The power outage was attributed to a fault in the hospital’s substation. The hospital’s generator also failed to function during this time. Hospital authorities have officially conveyed that surgeries and scanning services will remain temporarily unavailable for the next three days.
