Thiruvananthapuram: The rain warnings in Kerala have seen a change with the withdrawal of Orange alert in Ernakulam and Palakkad districts. However, a yellow alert continues in five districts, including Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakkad, and Malappuram.
The prevailing weather pattern is influenced by a cyclonic circulation over North Tamil Nadu and neighboring regions, bringing rainfall to Kerala. As a result of this weather system, the state is expected to experience heavy rainfall.
In addition, coastal areas are advised to be cautions due to the possibility of a sea attack. Strong winds and adverse weather conditions at sea have led to fishing restrictions, and it is strongly advised against venturing out for fishing along the Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep shores. Safety remains a top priority in light of these changing weather conditions.
