Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is on alert today due to the possibility of heavy rain in the state. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in three districts, which include Pathanamthitta, Idukki, and Ernakulam.
A cyclone has formed over Tamil Nadu and is presently positioned in the southeast Arabian Sea. This weather system is of concern, as there are indications that it may intensify into a low-pressure system in the Central East Arabian Sea by tomorrow. Such developments raise the potential for heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions in the coming days.
