20 injured as private bus collides with lorry in Malappuram

Malappuram: A collision between a private bus and a tipper lorry at Kuttippuram has resulted in injuries to 20 people. The incident occurred on Pallippady near Kinfra at approximately 7 am. The private bus, en route from Kozhikode to Thrissur, collided with a tipper lorry traveling in the opposite direction. Among the 20 injured individuals, including the tipper lorry driver, two sustained serious injuries. The police reported that the critically injured were transported to a nearby private hospital, while the others were taken to the Kuttippuram taluk hospital. Locals have raised concerns, alleging that the excessive speed of the private bus was the primary cause of the accident.
