“Is CPI(M) the Communist Party of Maulavis?” K Surendran criticizes Kerala CM’s tactic to win Lok Sabha Election; also mocks opposition for toeing the line of the CM

Kozhikode: The BJP State President, K Surendran, criticized Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, and the left front of a hidden Hamas-agenda in the name of Israel-Palestine issue. Surendran also criticized the opposition for helping the CM execute his agenda.

The BJP leader mocked the pro-Hamas meeting called by the Chief Minister the other day. He said that the meeting was filled with Maulavis and those wearing caps. He questioned if this is the Communist Party of Maulavis.

Surendran added that this is a tactic by the CM to win the coming Lok Sabha Elections and the only people who do not recognize this fact is the Congress in Kerala.

He remarked that the Congress is losing its stand in Kerala. This is an agenda of the communist party to influence and win over one community. First the communist party invited the Muslim League. However, the League did not attend the meeting called by the CPI(M), under pressure. Jifry Thangal and the Samastha went to the meeting. If Satheesan and K Sudhakaran do not realize where all this is heading then we will see what their fate would be in some months.

K Surendran warned that justifying the Hamas is not good for the state. It would only help in encouraging terrorism. If the opposition is doing exactly the agenda of Pinarayi Vijayan, then why do we need an opposition? Why do we need Congress? This is exactly what the people are asking, he said.

The BJP leader also questioned why the Palestine solidarity meetings are held only in Kozhikode and asked why leaders of other communities are not invited to these meetings.

Surendran then remarked that this is just a ploy to conceal the corruption and mismanagement of the government. The CM is trying to run away from the real issues affecting the people.

He also warned that if Kudumbashree and Employment Guarantee Scheme workers are threatened and forced to attend the ‘Nava Kerala Yathra’, then BJP would oppose it.

On Saturday, the CPI(M) held a huge Palestine solidarity rally in Kozhikode. The rally was attended by Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan and also other senior CPI(M) leaders. During his speech, Pinarayi Vijayan criticized the central government for its pro-Israel support. Kerala witnessed many pro-Palestine rallies in the days following the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel and the subsequent retaliation by the Israeli defense forces. A pro-Islamic organization, Solidarity, even aired a recorded video speech by one of the founding members of the terrorist organization Hamas.
