Kozhikode: Police said that, Suresh Gopi ,who appeared for questioning on the complaint of a  journalist, will not be arrested. Following the completion of the interrogation, he was released.

Actor Suresh Gopi was summoned to the Nadakkavu police station in Kozhikode for questioning. A big crowd gathered outside the station to support him , which proved challenging for the police to manage. Post-interrogation, Suresh Gopi addressed the gathered crowd, expressing gratitude for the  love and support.

The questioning took place in a room equipped with specialised recording equipment, capturing even the slightest movements and facial expressions of the accused during the interrogation.

Numerous individuals, including women, came to Nadakkav  to show their support for the actor. Prominent BJP leaders, including State President K. Surendran, P. K. Krishna Das , MT Ramesh, Sobha Surendran, and others, were also present outside the police station.

The incident began on the 27th of last month, when a female journalist filed a complaint against Suresh Gopi. The journalist reported the incident to the police and the Women’s Commission saying that she was touched badly on the shoulder. Then , Suresh Gopi expressed apologies, acknowledging the journalist’s reaction even before the official complaints were made.
