Thiruvananthapuram: Isolated rain is likely hit Kerala today under the influence of Cyclone Midhili. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that the extreme low pressure over the central-west Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into Cyclone Midhili.
It is reported that the cyclone will enter the land between Mongla and Khepupara along the Bangladesh coast by this morning. A cyclonic circulation is prevailing over northern Sri Lanka. The IMD has informed that there is a possibility of isolated rain with thunder and lightning today and tomorrow. Winds with a potential strength of 40 kilometers per hour are also anticipated.
