PATHANAMTHITTA: The police have intensified the investigation into the case involving Youth Congress members creating fake identity cards from the Election Commission of India. In connection with these fake ID cards, the investigation team conducted raids at two printing presses in Pandalam, in Pathanamthitta district.

During the raid at the presses, it was revealed that Vikas Krishna, a Youth Congress member currently in police custody, was working there.

In connection with the case, police have arrested four leaders of the Youth Congress including Vikas Krishna.

The arrested individuals, identified as Abhi Vikram, Binil, Binu, Fenny Nainan, and Vikas Krishnan, are active members representing the Adoor constituency in Pathanamthitta.

Authorities have stated that they possess substantial digital evidence against the arrested Youth Congress members. Vikas Krishna’s statement has been recorded as crucial evidence in the case.

Furthermore, the investigation has revealed that the four arrested individuals were operating under the direction of Rahul Mamkootathil. Hence, there is an indication that the investigation will also extend to Rahul Mamkootathil.

Rahul Mamkootathil is the newly elected Kerala state president of Youth Congress.
