Kochi: The government has officially conveyed to the High Court its decision to discontinue the mandatory participation of students in the Nava Kerala Sadas. This decision comes in the wake of recent complaints highlighting the discomfort faced by students who were required to stand in the sun and shout slogans to welcome the Nava Kerala Sadas.
During the court proceedings, the government’s legal representative clarified that all directives issued by the education department will be withdrawn by Monday. Also, the directive mandating school buses for transporting individuals to the Nava Kerala Sadas will also be withdrawn.
