Kannur: Amidst the continuous presence of communist terrorists in the region, the police-Thunderbolt team has heightened surveillance measures in the forest areas of Kannur. A helicopter is deployed to inspect the forest area. Intensive searches are underway in the forest sectors of Kannur, Wayanad, and Kozhikode districts. The Thunderbolt and police units collaborate in a joint effort to conduct a tightened search.
The inspection presently focuses on Kelakam, Kottiyoor, Kambamala, Makkimala, and the border regions of Kozhikode district.
