Thrissur: Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that appeasing politics that supports terrorism will backfire on Kerala. He said that terrorism is a big threat to our nation. He also added that facilitating Hamas terrorists to preach in Kerala even when the Arab countries denied permission to them, is a heinous crime affecting national security. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar was speaking to the media after inaugurating an anti-terror conference in Thrissur.
Union Minister said that after seeing the atrocities that took place in Israel on October 7th, any sane person would think whether to support Hamas or not. Even the Arab countries say that Hamas is a terrorist organization. But by supporting Hamas terrorists, the children and youth of Kerala will be led towards fundamentalism and terrorism. The religious devotion shown by the Communists and Congress in Kerala for securing votes will put the social life of Kerala in crisis. Their attempt is for communal polarization in Muslim society. Appeasement politics can become a fertile ground for extremism. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated that NDA’s stance is against all kinds of terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, the anti-terrorist conference being held under the leadership of the NDA is against the left and right front policies that promote religious terrorism. The left and right fronts expressed their support for Hamas when they conducted rallies focusing Kozhikode. Although both sides openly spoke about Palestinian solidarity, the politics through appeasement was the aim behind it. It is in this context that the NDA is coming to the fore by exposing these moves.
