Thiruvananthapuram: BJP spokesperson Sandeep Vachaspati said that with BJP in power, the permanent Indian political style of ‘showing contempt after coming to power’ has come to an end. Sandeep Vachaspati said that the BJP is getting back to power because it is fulfilling all the promises made to the people. Other parties are breaking the promise given to the people in the manifesto after the election.
Sandeep Vachaspati’s reaction came after the BJP’s advance in four of the five states where assembly elections were being held. With the election results declared yesterday, BJP won the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Though Telangana was secured by the Congress, the eight seats BJP secured in the state from the single seat they possessed before is considered a victory in itself.
This is how Vachaspati’s Facebook post goes:
The relationship between word and deed is the primary quality that an individual or an organization should possess. This is one of the fundamental differences between the BJP and other political parties. It is the BJP that has put an end to the usual Indian political style of promising something to get power and discarding all that was promised after getting power. BJP has given a new feeling to the people who are tired of experiencing broken promises. BJP has been able to leave power, for the things that were said in the manifesto and the ideals presented to the people. That is why the BJP continues to rule by a large margin and its opponents have to resort to all sorts of tricks to oust the BJP.
Till now, BJP has never shown the double standard and self-deception of clinging to ranks for power. It is because the BJP’s motto is nation first, politics later. This double standard is the reason why many organizations and parties, which had more manpower and financial power than the BJP, are losing its support and trust among the people. Others must realize that the BJP cannot be defeated unless they stop betraying the people. Thanks to all who supported BJP.
