Kozhikode: Kozhikode: In a clash that occurred at Government Law College Kozhikode, a case has been filed against six activists belonging to the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) for attacking a Kerala Students Union (KSU) worker. The incident occurred amid a heated dispute related to the union election.
The registered case lists Shyam Karthik, Hrithik, Abin Raj, Inosh, Ismail, and Yogesh as the accused. Charges have been filed under sections related to attempted murder and gang assault in connection with the attack on second-year student Sanjay Justin. Sources reveal that the altercation took place without any apparent provocation, leaving Justin seriously injured. Witnesses claim that the SFI activists used dangerous weapons during the assault, escalating the conflict and leading to severe injuries for the victim.
