KOTTAYAM: K Surendran, the BJP Kerala state president, criticized the Congress party, emphasizing that they will not win elections even in the distant future. He urged the public to recognize the efforts made to glorify Rahul Gandhi with the aid of certain media outlets. Surendran highlighted that the Congress party, along with certain media outlets, are disseminating fake news and excessively praising Rahul Gandhi.

Surendran was speaking to the media following his participation in the state leadership meeting of the NDA held in Kottayam. Surendran said that the double standards and hypocrisy of the Congress are attempts to mislead the people into believing that they will regain power again. He asserted that the BJP will progress by exposing these tactics to the people of Kerala.

Surendran noted the departure of senior Congress leaders in Kerala, citing the recent resignation of Kannur DCC secretary C Raghunath. Raghunath, who contested in the previous Assembly elections as a UDF candidate in the Dharmadam constituency against Pinarayi Vijayan, voiced his discontent with the Congress party and resigned.

Additionally, Surendran highlighted that Kerala would receive attention from the national leadership of the Centre. He expressed expectations for more youngsters from Kerala to join the BJP, contributing to national development. The NDA state committee organized the meeting in Kottayam as part of their preparations for the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
