Bengaluru : In a heartbreaking incident, a Malayali family was discovered dead in Karnataka’s Kodagu. Vinod Babusenan (43), his wife Jibi Abraham (37), and their daughter Jane Maria Jacob (11) were found dead.. The resort staff discovered their lifeless bodies yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.

According to the police, initial investigations point to financial distress as the possible reason behind the family’s tragic decision.

Both the husband and wife were found hanging, while their child was found lifeless in bed. Preliminary assessments suggest that after taking their child’s life, the couple took their own lives. A suicide note signed by Vinod and Jibi was recovered at the scene, stating that no one else was responsible for their deaths. The bodies were transferred to the government hospital in Kodagu.

Police have informed the relatives in Kollam, and after the post-mortem examination, the bodies will be handed over to the family.
