Thiruvananthapuram: National Secretariat member Binoy Viswam has been selected as CPI State Secretary. The decision follows the demise of Kanam Rajendran who was holding the post. CPI General Secretary D Raja informed that Binoy Viswam was unanimously selected as the State Secretary by the state executive.
D Raja told the media that the state council will meet on 28th and the decision of the state executive will be given final approval there. On December 8, 2023 Kanam Rajendran, who was the CPI State Secretary for eight years, passed away due to a heart attack.
