Alappuzha: A Joint Secretary of SFI unit at the MSM College in Kayamkulam, Jishnu, got injured after senior SFI leaders attacked him, when he refused to bring sandals of the senior student leaders.
According to the victim, Jishnu, the real reason that led to the attack was that he and other junior students had questioned these leaders about drug use and distribution.
The incident occurred the other day, when the senior students as part of ragging juniors, asked Jishnu to fetch their sandals. However, when Jishnu questioned their behavior, he was attacked by an iron rod and was pepper-sprayed in the eyes.
Jishnu also informed that he has given complaints to the police and the College authorities about the incident.
