PATHANAMTHITTA: It has been reported that 21,000 devotees visited the Sabarimala Temple today, arriving between 1 am and 6 am. Saturday being a holiday, there’s typically a higher influx of devotees at Sabarimala. Additionally, reports indicate that 90,000 devotees secured bookings via the virtual queue for Darshan today.

The Devaswom Board faces several allegations regarding their failure in managing the crowd. Numerous devotees have voiced dissatisfaction, claiming that the Board hasn’t adhered to previous arrangements. Several BJP leaders have urged the government to deploy experienced police officers to manage the crowds. However, many police officers are currently occupied with the CM’s ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ campaign programme.

According to reports, from early morning up until 12 pm yesterday (Friday), 84,793 people had visited the Sabarimala Temple. Moreover, reports indicate that 1,812,179 devotees have availed Darshan via the virtual queue since the beginning of this Mandalam season until 6 pm yesterday.
