Thrissur: Two youths were arrested for peddling MDMA in Thrissur. Vinish from Mundur and Tarson from Pavaratty were apprehended during an inspection conducted by the Chavakkad Excise Range Inspector and his team. The investigation resulted in the seizure of 64 grams of MDMA from them.
The youths had been under the surveillance of the Excise for an extended period. Despite not being employed, they were leading a lavish lifestyle. Investigations revealed that the youth were procuring MDMA from Bengaluru and foreign sources, subsequently selling it here at three times its original price.
The police are actively seeking information regarding the suppliers of drugs in Bengaluru who provided substances to the arrested individuals. Furthermore, an investigation will be conducted into the customers in Kerala. Excise officials stated that further action will be taken following detailed interrogation of the accused.
