Kozhikode: Braving the threats of SFI Governor Arif Mohammed Khan attended the seminar conducted at University of Calicut by Sanathana Dharma Chair in collaboration with Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram. He delivered his inaugural speech and also spoke with the media after the seminar outside the venue and left for the guest house.
The SFI took out a large procession against the Governor’s presence and tried to jump the barricades erected by the police. They were attempting to intimidate the Governor with a show of strength. However, the Governor did not cow down before the communist student organization and carried out with the speech and also spoke with the media.
The police arrested and removed the protesting students while they tried to jump the barricades. The SFI continued their protests wearing black dress and raising banners and black balloons.
However, the SFI leaders’ threat to stop the Governor from entering the university campus turned out to be an empty threat. Arif Mohammed Khan not only entered the University of Calicut but also attended a seminar hosted by the Sanathana Dharma Chair in collaboration with Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram.
