Thrissur: BJP State General Secretary MT Ramesh expressed confidence that the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Thrissur on January 3 will usher in historic changes for the state of Kerala. Speaking to the media after inspecting the Women’s gathering venue in Thrissur city and evaluating the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit, MT Ramesh highlighted the transformative impact that each visit of the Prime Minister has had on the state.

Preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit are in their final stages, with prominent women from social and cultural fields set to participate in the gathering. This event follows the recent passage of the Women Reservation Bill, and about two lakh women are expected to attend to convey their congratulations to PM Modi.

MT Ramesh revealed that the Prime Minister’s roadshow on January 3 will commence from the front of the district hospital in the afternoon, proceeding through the Naduvilal and Naikanal areas to enter the temple grounds. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to arrive in Thrissur on January 3, specifically to partake in a women’s gathering named “Sthree Shakti Sangamam,” organized by the BJP and the Mahila Morcha. An impressive turnout of 2,00,000 women is anticipated at Thekkinkadu Maidan for the Sthree Shakti Sangamam event.
