Thrissur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attending the Sthree Shakti Sangamam (women’s gathering), was bestowed with valuable gifts as a gesture of honour. K Surendran, BJP State President, presented the Prime Minister with a model of Sree Rama idol of Ayodhya.
Adding to the accolades, businesswoman Beena Kannan gifted a meticulously crafted silver shawl from her renowned firm, Seematti. Notably, BABU, a sand artist who had crafted an impressive 51-feet high sand image of the Prime Minister, presented a miniature model of the artwork during the event. Prime Minister Modi, intrigued by the creation, inquired about its special features before accepting the award.
The cultural city of Kerala welcomed Prime Minister Modi with a massive gathering eagerly awaiting his presence. The Sthree Shakti Sangamam showcased women who have excelled in diverse fields, sharing the stage with the Prime Minister during the event.
