Thrissur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to Kerala on January 17 to attend actor and former Rajya Sabha MP Suresh Gopi’s daughter’s wedding at Guruvayoor.

The Central Government has requested a security report from the Kerala Police, who inspected the helipad at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayoor, with the report expected to be submitted today. There are indications that Home Minister Amit Shah might also attend the event, and the finalisation of security arrangements will depend on his confirmation.

Suresh Gopi and his family visited Delhi earlier to personally extend an invitation to PM Narendra Modi for their elder daughter Bhagya Suresh’s wedding. During the meeting, the actor, accompanied by his wife Radhika and daughter Bhagya Suresh, presented the wedding invitation to the Prime Minister. The images from this meeting gained attention on social media.

The wedding ceremony between Bhagya and businessman Sreyas Mohan is scheduled to take place at the Guruvayoor temple on January 17, with the reception planned at Thiruvananthapuram Greenfield Stadium on January 20.
