Kozhikode: A human skull was found during the demolition of a shop in Kunjipally, Vadakara, that had remained closed for over a year. The skeletal remains were found amidst the waste as workers cleared the building to make way for the construction of the National Highway.
The police have reported that the remains are estimated to be more than six months old. The building, which has been closed for over a year, was taken over for the construction of the National Highway, but the circumstances surrounding the presence of the human skull in this closed building are not clear. The Chombala Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
