THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The investigation team has reported that they have collected significant evidence against Veena Vijayan, the daughter of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in connection with the ‘monthly payment’ from the black soil company Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL).
The investigation was based on the inquiry ordered by the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs into irregularities related to Veena Vijayan’s company, ‘Exalogic Solutions,’ and the surrounding controversy regarding ‘monthly payments’.
It has been reported that the Registrar of Companies in Bengaluru and Kochi, under the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has found several proofs of irregularities from the receipts of Veena Vijayan’s company ‘Exalogic Solutions,’ including money transactions from CMRL.
With this development, the CPI(M) party, which has earlier defended the Chief Minister and his daughter in this matter, is facing trouble. The Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs has directed the investigation team to conduct a detailed investigation into the evidence found by the Registrar of Companies in Bengaluru and Kochi, and submit a report within four months.
Officials from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Pondicherry are leading the investigation against Veena Vijayan’s company ‘Exalogic Solutions.’
The Kerala government organization, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) is also under scrutiny. With the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs ordering the investigation, Veena Vijayan and her company are under pressure.
However, earlier, CM Pinarayi Vijayan and other senior leaders came forward and stated that the funds discovered by the investigation team from the black soil company CMRL were in exchange for legitimate services from Veena Vijayan’s company ‘Exalogic Solutions.’ CPI(M) leaders also mentioned that the ‘monthly payment’ controversy is politically motivated by Opposition leaders in Kerala.
But the latest reports issued by the Registrars of Companies at the Kochi and Bengaluru centers refute all the claims of the CPI(M).
