THRISSUR: Guruvayur Devaswom has confirmed that all 74 scheduled marriages on January 17 will take place as scheduled at the Guruvayur Temple. The Guruvayur Devaswom made this clarification in response to rumours that arose regarding PM Modi’s visit and the marriage of Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi’s daughter, stating that the rumours are false.
Guruvayur Devaswom Administrator KP Vinayan informed that rumours regarding marriages scheduled to be held at the Guruvayur temple on the day of Suresh Gopi’s daughter’s marriage (January 17, 2024) being postponed are untrue.
He was responding to the situation where rumors on social media were spreading, suggesting that scheduled marriages in Guruvayur Temples had been postponed due to PM Modi’s visit to participate in Suresh Gopi’s daughter’s marriage at the Temple.
