Thrissur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a grand welcome from thousands of people during a lively road show stretching from Triprayar to the Valapad helipad ground. The Prime Minister, who had earlier attended in significant rituals and offerings at the Triprayar temple, including the traditional offering of ‘Meenuttu’ (feeding of fishes in the temple pond), is set to return to Kochi from Valapad.
Despite the scorching heat, the Prime Minister, riding in an open vehicle, personally greeted the throngs of people lining the city streets.The locals showered flowers to express their warm reception. The anticipation of the Prime Minister’s visit drew crowds from early morning, with people of all ages, including women and children, making their way to Triprayar to witness the historic occasion.
