Malappuram: A 25-year-old woman named Tahdila was found hanging dead at her husband’s residence in Panthalur’s Vellila, Malappuram. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, categorizing it as a case of unnatural death, with domestic violence suspected.
Relatives of the deceased have come forward, alleging that Tahdila took her own life as a result of enduring domestic violence. They claim that Tahdila had confided in them about being subjected to both physical and mental abuse by her father-in-law. Tahdila’s husband, Nisar, is currently residing abroad. The couple has four children, including a two-year-old child.
