Kannur: BJP State President K Surendran stated that a significant number of people are participating in the Kerala Padayathra programme. Surendran was addressing the media in Kannur during the Kerala Padayathra. A large group of people welcomed the Kerala Padayathra in Kannur, and he viewed it as a sign of positive political change. People are starting to realize the importance of living in peace.

Surendran expressed that the people of the state trust Narendra Modi’s guarantee, and they lack confidence in the credibility of the Kerala CM. He criticized CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan for being a slave to the party, urging Govindan to rectify wrong practices within the CPI(M).

He added that despite being summoned for questioning by the Kerala Police regarding the brutal attack on protestors during Pinarayi Vijayan’s ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ programme, the CM’s gunman is yet to appear. This raises concerns about the CM’s endorsement of rule violations and the deteriorating law and order in Kerala.

Surendran highlighted instances of SFI goons attacking the state Governor with the support of the Kerala police, criticizing the unfairness of attacking the Governor’s vehicle in the name of protests. He accused Kerala police of adopting a double standard in handling black-flag protests against Pinarayi and the Kerala Governor, alleging intentional violence against the Governor by Pinarayi.

Surendran added that E Ahamed embezzled funds for Hajj pilgrims when he was a Minister and a member of the government’s Hajj committee. He was involved in scams related to travel tickets and other matters, but the situation changed after the Narendra Modi government came into power.
