Kannur: Actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi strongly criticized Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan while addressing the masses at the Kerala Padayathra held in Kannur. Suresh Gopi stated that the left government’s dictator ruling in Kerala would come to an end when the Kerala Padayathra, which began on January 27, concludes. He emphasized that the left autocratic leaders are not afraid of the BJP or NDA alliance but fear the people and their support.
Suresh Gopi added that a large group of people is supporting and participating in the NDA’s Kerala Padayathra programme. He expressed that the people of the state trust Narendra Modi’s leadership, lacking confidence in the credibility of the Kerala CM.

Suresh Gopi then addressed the adverse law and order situation in Kerala, highlighting SFI attacks against Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and police inaction. Suresh Gopi reiterated that under Pinarayi Vijayan’s autocratic rule, immediate police action is taken against anyone who criticizes, suppressing dissent.
Suresh Gopi continued by stating that nations worldwide praise Bharath PM Narendra Modi for his contributions to the world in the last ten years. He added that Modi’s government prioritizes the nation’s development without favouritism, nepotism, or caste considerations. The government stands for Uniform Civil Code (UCC), and Suresh Gopi affirmed that if the BJP government implements UCC, all citizens will benefit equally. In a humorous tone, he affirmed that it is not like the Kerala government’s fake announcement on the K-Rail project.
Suresh Gopi clarified that UCC is not against any community and emphasized that all citizens would be treated equally, with everyone benefiting. He accused some political leaders of spreading fake propaganda against UCC for the sake of votes.
Suresh Gopi highlighted that the central government has disbursed over Rs 37,000 crores to farmers in Kerala through bank accounts. He urged the Kerala government to disburse wages for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers, citing instances where workers have not received their salaries, and some local left-wing leaders are taking commissions from them.
Suresh Gopi accused the Kerala government of not paying salaries to the workers and blamed Pinarayi Vijayan for the adverse financial situation in Kerala. He also added that the promises of the Modi government will be implemented, as the people of the country have great credibility in his vision.
