Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) leader PC George expressed his interest to join the BJP. PC George applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that PM Modi has done commendable work in India. He said that he has decided to join the BJP and other than him, the members of Janapaksham party have also decided to join the BJP.

Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) is a registered political party in Kerala founded by P. C. George in 2019.

“The general feeling in the party is to join the BJP. A decision will be taken before the Lok Sabha elections” – said PC George. He also stated that supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the right decision, given Modi’s commendable statesmanship in India.

A three-member committee from the party leadership, comprising PC George, George Joseph, and Shone George, has arrived in Delhi to discuss about the potential affiliation with the BJP. They will be in talks with the central leadership, and it is expected that Union Minister V Muraleedharan, Prakash Javadekar, and other prominent leaders may join the discussions. The decision regarding PC George’s dissolution of the Janapaksham Secular Party, and his entry then into the BJP is yet to be finalized. PC George informed that these matters will also be addressed during the discussions.
