Malappuram: 21 people sustained injuries in stray dog attacks in Malappuram. The attacks happened in various locations within Kalpakanchery Panchayat, prompting concerns among the residents. The incidents occurred earlier this morning as people who were out for their regular morning walk fell victim to stray dog attacks.
There were also three children among the 21 people who sustained injuries. The injured were promptly admitted to Tirur Taluk Hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, no one is reported to be in serious condition; however, several individuals suffered injuries to their hands and faces.
The locals have voiced that it is a single stray dog that has been attacking the people in the panchayath. They demanded for immediate action to capture the stray dog to prevent further attacks in other areas.
