Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) leader and Politburo member MA Baby insulted the apex court of the country. MA Baby, who alleged that the Supreme Court was issuing verdicts that do not hurt Prime Minister Narendra Modi, added that he is forced to ask if the Supreme Court is not ashamed of it. He was speaking at the KSTA conference in Kannur.
“The country is in a situation where the plaintiff becomes the defendant when the case related to Adani comes up. The verdict abrogating Article 370 of the Constitution is a disgrace to the country. In some cases, the Supreme Court will announce a neutral verdict. That too on issues that do not cause problems for PM Modi,”MA Baby said. He also added that there is no problem even if a case is filed against him for saying this.
