Kozhikode: Kozhikode Collector Snehil Kumar Singh received a threatening letter from a communist terrorist group. The letter was delivered to the collectorate yesterday. In the letter, the communist terrorists warned that no one should be punished in a corruption case this year.
On the collector’s complaint, the letter was handed over to the district police chief. Government sources are not ready to make further responses on the matter.
Earlier, there was a clash between communist terrorists and the Thunderbolt group in Aralam last November. On the 45th day after the encounter, the communist terrorists had put up posters in Aralam announcing that their colleague Kavitha (Lakshmi) had become a martyr in the encounter and that they would avenge her death. After that, the police and the forest department had been keeping a heavy vigil in Aralam.
