Ernakulam: The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) team has heightened its scrutiny in the case against alleged monthly payments controversy surrounding Chief Minister and his daughter, Veena Vijayan. SFIO has initiated a raid again today at the corporate office of CMRL Company in Kochi as part of the investigation.
The SFIO team carried out an inspection led by Deputy Director Arun Prasad at the CMRL office in Aluva the other day. It is reported that significant information has been uncovered during the inspection. The investigation is currently focused on information obtained from a diary. Earlier findings by the investigation team revealed that Veena Vijayan had received substantial sums of money for unpaid services.
