New Delhi: New Delhi: Union Minister V Muraleedharan launched a scathing attack on the Kerala government’s protest against the Central government, accusing them of shifting blame for their own mistakes on Centre. He questioned whether the state government is prepared to disclose the tax share figures received by Kerala, challenging the validity of the claims made by Left MPs in the media.

Asserting that the Kerala government has failed to counter the tax allocation figures presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament, Muraleedharan challenged them to prove the statistics wrong. He challenged the government to issue a notice for breach of privilege if they can prove inaccuracies in the presented figures and statistics.

Muraleedharan accused the Kerala government of disseminating false information to the public regarding their purported lack of tax share from the Centre. He condemned what he perceived as a coordinated protest by corrupt parties in Delhi. Muraleedharan also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his dedication to serving the people irrespective of political affiliations.

Addressing criticism surrounding the timing of Bharat Ratna announcements coinciding with elections, Muraleedharan questioned whether it was feasible to delay such announcements due to election proximity. He also expressed satisfaction at the posthumous awarding of Bharat Ratna to MS Swaminathan, hailed as the father of the green revolution in India.
