New Delhi: NK Premachandran, Member of Parliament, shared his experience of having lunch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing it as a new and pleasant experience. He said that during the lunch meeting, held before the conclusion of the budget session, personal matters of the Prime Minister were discussed in a friendly atmosphere.
Premachandran recounted the unexpected invitation he received from the Prime Minister’s office, noting the warmth and cordiality of the interaction. He emphasized that the discussion remained free from any political undertones, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere throughout. Prime Minister Modi shared insights into his experiences and daily routines, both as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and in his current role as Prime Minister.
Reflecting on the encounter, Premachandran expressed his amazement at the ease with which the Prime Minister engaged in conversation, making him feel as though he was speaking with an ordinary individual rather than the Prime Minister of the country. The lunch gathering, attended by eight elected MPs, including Premachandran, took place at the Parliament House canteen, serving as a unique opportunity for cross-party dialogue.
Notably, Premachandran was the sole representative from the opposition front to receive the invitation to the luncheon
