Union Minister V Muraleedharan feels proud that about 1 lakh youngsters are entering employment in various sectors of the country through Rozgar Mela initiative

Thiruvananthapuram: Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan has said that he is proud that around 1 lakh people are entering employment in various sectors of the country. He said that they will also play an important role in the future growth of the country. The Union Minister was speaking at the Rozgar Mela held at Pallipuram CRPF Camp.

“Today’s youth are the creators of the country’s future development, you will be responsible for leading our country to the helm of growth. There is no doubt that India will be the biggest economic power in the world. Awareness should be created on how it will benefit the common people. Around 100,000 youths are going to be a part of various sectors of central government,” said Muraleedharan.

He said, ”India was once a weak economy, India was considered as one among the fragile five economies in the world. From there in the last 10 years India has seen strong growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is now among the first five economic systems in the world. Within 2-3 years India will climb its position to the top three economies in the word according to financial experts and other eminent personalities in this field.

When we say we become a strong economy it is due to the development in various sectors of the country’s economy. The country has taken a big leap in terms of infrastructure development. The country had a very fast and strong development.

The Centre has made the recruitment process faster with the use of the latest technology. This initiative is part of the Centre’s efforts to make India a developed nation by 2047 while ensuring the participation of the youth,” said Muraleedharan.

The Union Minister said that India has shown a vast growth in the field if technology too. It has become the second largest producer of mobile phones in the world. He also said that the country which used to depend on other countries in the field of defense is now helping other countries too.

The Union Minister witnessed the live webcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi launching the employment drive. He also handed appointment letters to the new recruits at the ceremony.

The Rozgar Mela marks a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to giving the highest priority to employment generation in the country. This event was constituted with the aim of providing central government jobs to 10 lakh people within a year. Recruitments are being conducted across various Central Government Departments and State Governments/Union Territories to support this initiative. The Rozgar Mela is expected to further leverage employment generation and provide valuable opportunities for the youth, empowering them to directly participate in National Development.
