Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court adjourned the plea filed by Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter, Veena Vijayan’s company, Exalogic Solutions, to stay the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO)’s investigation in the monthly payment scam case.

The petition has been filed against the Central Government and the Director of SFIO. The Court ordered Exalogic Solutions to produce all documents as per SFIO’s investigation. SFIO informed the court that the investigation has found that Rs 1.72 crore was transferred to Exalogic Solutions from the CMRL without any service rendered. SFIO also stated that Exalogic Solutions has not provided the financial transaction details between Exalogic and CMRL.

SFIO also reported to the Court that the CMRL has transferred Rs 135 crore of unaccounted money to several politicians at various times. SFIO also stated that Exalogic Solutions collected Rs 1.72 crore without providing any services, and some of CMRL’s transactions were mysterious. SFIO added that CMRL was also not providing original documents for investigation.

Meanwhile, the Court inquired about the possibility of any arrests in connection with the scam case. Responding to that, the investigation team informed that only a notice had been given at present to submit all documents for investigation. The petition was considered by the Karnataka HC, Division Bench. It is reported that the Karnataka HC’s verdict on the plea of Veena Vijayan’s company to stay the investigation will be given within ten days.
