Kollam: Four members of a family from Kollam were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their residence in California, USA. The deceased were identified as Anand Sujith Henry (42), his wife Alice Priyanka (40), and their twin children Noah and Nathan (4). The bodies were discovered at 7:45 pm Indian time on Monday (February 12).
Initially, it was reported that the family died after inhaling poisonous gas, but the police later confirmed that two people were shot dead. A pistol was found near the bodies.
Anand, the son of Prof G Henry, former principal of Fatima Mata National College in Kollam, had recently resigned from Google and launched a new company. Alice, a software engineer, is the daughter of the late Benziger and Juliet.
The family had moved to the US six years ago and had not returned home since then. Alice’s mother, Juliet, was residing with them in the US. Juliet returned home from the US on Sunday. On Monday morning, upon reaching Thiruvananthapuram, she attempted to call Alice, but neither Alice nor Anand could be contacted by phone. Anand’s friends attempted to check on their residence, but found it locked. They then informed the police. Upon arrival and entry, the police discovered the four deceased individuals in a room.
