New Delhi:  External Affairs Minister  V. Muraleedharan stated on Friday that the Kerala Government has always been blaming the national agencies when their scams are exposed. They have received a setback today from the Karnataka High Court when it dismissed Veena Vijayan’s company Exalogic’s petition seeking to stay the SFIO investigation. Muraleedharan made these comments while addressing the media in New Delhi.

Muraleedharan said that this is one such case which illustrates the faulty mechanism of the Kerala Government. He explained that the Chief Minister’s daughter was alleged to have accepted a bribe of Rs 1.75 crore, but they were unable to provide the necessary documentation to justify the purpose of this money. He added that they then approached the court, requesting the termination of the investigation. However, the court ruled that the investigation could proceed.

Muraleedharan stated that it had become evident that the corrupt could not escape by accusing national agencies. He added that with this, Kerala government’s act of playing victim has come to an end. V Muraleedharan also demanded that they should apologize to the people of Kerala for the false propaganda leveled against the Prime Minister and the Central Government.
