Thiruvananthapuram: Even after 9 hours of investigation, police are yet to find the whereabouts of the two-year-old girl who was abducted this morning from Thiruvananthapuram.
A child abduction incident was reported from Pettah, Thiruvananthapuram, where a two-year-old girl was abducted while sleeping with her parents on a roadside. It is reported that the child, Mary, is the daughter of a nomadic couple – Amardeep and Rabina Devi from Bihar.
Police have requested that anyone with information about the missing child, inform the police control room at 0471 2743 195, 94979 47107, 94979 60113, 94979 80015, 94979 96988, or 112. It is also informed that the girl was wearing a black spotted T-shirt at the time of her abduction.
According to statements given to the police, the couple suspects that two men who arrived on a yellow-colored Activa scooter abducted their daughter. Police have informed that they have intensified the investigation based on CCTV video footage from nearby locations.
