Thiruvananthapuram: A two-year-old girl was abducted from Pettah today early morning. The 2-year-old girl, Mary, is the daughter of a nomadic couple, Ramina Devi and Amardeep, hailing from Bihar.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. today, when the couple were sleeping on the roadside with their three children. They woke up and found that their daughter Mary was missing. After this, the locals rushed to the spot as the couple panicked and started crying aloud.
It is reported that two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and were seen taking away the child. Efforts to locate the missing girl have intensified. Anyone with information about the child has been asked to report it to the Pettah police station.
After the child abduction incident in Kollam Oyoor, another such incident is being reported once again now in Thiruvananthapuram. Residents of the area expressed concern over the increasing number of such cases.
