Kottayam: BJP leader PC George lashed out at former Finance Minister TM Thomas Isaac, who is being considered as the LDF candidate in the Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha constituency. He criticized Thomas Isaac as the person who put Kerala in a debt trap through KIIFB, suggesting that people would beat him up if he asked for votes. Pathanamthitta is the sacred land of Lord Ayyappan, and George openly stated that the people there cannot be deceived anymore.
George questioned why Isaac from Alappuzha should contest in Pathanamthitta, stating that Isaac was the person who plunged the entire Kerala into debt by deceitfully using KIIFB funds. He further remarked that if Isaac were to ask for votes, people would surround him and beat him. George suggested, “Let Isaac come here and ask for votes, I might make him win.”
PC George had also earlier criticized Anto Antony, the sitting MP of Pathanamthitta and Congress leader.
