Thiruvananthapuram: Amid the Kerala state government facing severe financial crisis, plans are underway to install luxurious gym equipment at the official residence of Kerala State Legislative Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer.
The Assembly Secretary has invited tenders for the installation of fitness equipment for Shamseer’s official residence. The tender notification includes the detailed list of required equipment and specifies a minimum warranty of three years.
The tender calls for the purchase of three fitness equipment items: a treadmill, a leg curl & leg extension machine, and a commercial elliptical cross-trainer machine. The tender notification specifies that the treadmill machine should have a power rating above 5hp and feature an LED display showing time duration, distance, and heartbeat details. The leg curl & leg extension machine, is required to have a weight capacity of above 180 kg.
