Pathanamthitta: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has disconnected power supply to Forest Department offices in Pathanamthitta, including the DFO (District Forest Office) office in Ranni. This action was taken by KSEB due to outstanding electricity bills.
The incident occurred this morning. KSEB has stated that there are arrears of Rs15,000, including those of the DFO office. However, the Forest Department contends that only one month’s bill remains unpaid. Additionally, the Forest Department has indicated that a report will be submitted at higher levels regarding this matter.
