Over 4.2 lakh students to appear for SSLC exam in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: This year, a total of 4,27,105 students are set to appear for the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) exam across the state of Kerala. The examination will be conducted across a total of 2,971 examination centers. Concurrently, the Higher Secondary Examination will take place at 2,017 centres, with 4,15,044 students in Plus One and 4,44,097 students in Plus Two preparing to write the exams.

For the VHSC (Vocational Higher Secondary Education) examination, 389 centres have been designated, accommodating 27,770 first-year students and 29,337 second-year students. The SSLC exam is scheduled to commence on March 4 and conclude on March 25. Similarly, the Higher Secondary-Vocational Higher Secondary Examinations will take place from March 1 to 26.

Question papers stored in the strong rooms of 41 education district offices will be protected by police personnel until March 25. Additionally, each day’s answer paper bundles will be delivered to the designated post offices on the same day.
